An Oil Disaster

At SERVPRO of Kennett Square/Oxford, we are proud to help restore homes in our local communities from unexpected disasters.  Recently, we were happy to help a customer of ours in Cochranville after they experienced one such event. 

These photos show our hard work after repairing a home that had experienced a unique oil disaster.  An oil heater fan had picked up diesel oil and distributed the oil throughout the home.  This created an oily texture on the floors and a strong odor that filled the air.  Smoke appeared on the walls as well.  Our restoration professionals were able to eliminate the oil, smoke and odor from the property by cleaning and sealing the floors and walls using our specialized equipment.  We also repaired this floor for the customer who was relieved that we were able to make his oil disaster “Like it never even happened.”
